About BoYee

Yogic Background

BoYee's first yoga class experience was when she was about 16 years old.  She remembers deciding to drop into a yoga class one day at a local gym.  As she curiously settled into a spot in front of her instructor, she noticed her instructor had very calming and balanced aura about her.  Even though BoYee did not know much about yoga at the time, she could somehow sense this woman was a true yogini and followed a yogic path.  By the end of class, BoYee was in the most relaxing, zenful state she had ever experienced.  With excitement, BoYee asked the instructor when she was teaching next.  To BoYee's dismay, the yoga teacher said that was her last class and she was going to move to New York.  This encounter left a permanent impression on BoYee, and since then BoYee continued to take yoga classes at various studios wherever she lived.  BoYee began to deepen her practice during the last three years and received her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification in Raja Yoga this year from the Sierra Center for Yoga Studies.  Now a vegetarian and a student of non-violence, BoYee says yoga has truly transformed her life and embraces the yogic path.  In light of karma yoga, BoYee offers Donation Only Yoga Classes six days a week in the community.  BoYee also offers Mobile Yoga Service for kids through seniors!

Dance Background

Dancing is BoYee's greatest passion and she started dancing ballet at the tender age of two.  Aspiring to become a professional ballet dancer, she trains at least six days a week at the studio in the Vaganova method.  BoYee embraces all styles of dance, and hopes for a world where people are more open-minded to other styles of dance and see all dance forms on equal planes.  Full-spirited and determined to start making her dreams a reality, BoYee founded a dance group at UC Davis called L.O.V.E. (Love.Openmindedness.Vision.Equality) in Spring 2007.  There is a possibility she may start a new chapter of L.O.V.E. in the future.  For those enchanted with the beauty, strength, and grace of ballet, BoYee offers Mobile Ballet Service for all ages and Ballerina Princess Parties for children.
